Update prices

PATCH
/product-information/price/prices
Required scope: product:update

Updates existing prices or adds new prices in the product information management system.

A product price consists of two amounts:

  • The selling price, which is the price the customer pays.
  • The original price, which is the price before a sale and is shown alongside the selling price when the product is on sale. A product that is not on sale has no original price (zero).

unitPrice, salePrice and clearSalePrice do not map one-to-one to these amounts. When updating an existing price, the combination of fields sent decides the result:

unitPriceUnchangedunitPrice Change the original price of a product that is on sale.

Note: Sending only unitPrice does not change the price the customer pays. To change the regular price of a product that is not on sale, also send clearSalePrice: true.

When adding a new price, clearSalePrice is ignored. The selling price is set to salePrice, or to unitPrice when no salePrice is sent, and the original price is set to unitPrice.

salePrice and clearSalePrice: true cannot be combined in the same row.
